About Me

Fun FAQs

Favorite foods?

I am a true foodie and enjoy the mere act of eating, tasting, chewing, smelling, savoring, and discovering new flavors, textures, styles, combinations, and the list goes on.

But, my STAPLES include bean and cheese burritos, lots of toppings with a little fro-yo, deep-dish pizza with ranch (I could drink it), chips and guacamole, freshly made pasta, and so much more!

Things most people don’t know about me?

I have a pet tarantula named Rosie. I used to be severely arachnophobic to the point where it debilitated my daily life. I ended up being on a new Animal Planet Show where I underwent exposure therapy with a psychologist, which changed my life. I’m still not a huge fan of spiders (who is?), but I can tolerate them now, and sometimes I even save them instead of squish them due to intense fear.

How I relax?

Going outside and getting fresh air, walking to the beach and putting my toes in the sand and the cold ocean water. Cooking delicious foods using random ingredients, without any recipes. Sitting on the couch in my sweats and watching reality tv shows (big Bravo fan), comedy (Amy Schumer is a guaranteed laugh out loud), rom-coms, Pixar or Disney movies, and documentaries.

Travels & explorations?

I would consider myself a world traveler, and have been fortunate enough to explore 51 countries and six continents thus far — and I’m not done. Seeing other parts of the world and how other people live, different cultures, foods, traditions, humans… I fall in love with it all.

I would love for world travel to be more accessible to all humans, for I believe that the valuable perspectives and life experiences gained through cultural exploration cannot be taught in a classroom. I think people would be more understanding, accepting, and tolerant of other humans and cultures.

How others would describe me?

Family: loving, caring, altruistic, sincere, determined, compassionate, empathetic, well-spoken, adventurous.

Friends: fun, funny, active, thoughtful, smart, organized.

Strangers: “sweetheart,” kind, helpful, bold, determined, energetic.

Hobbies?

Moving my body: HIIT workouts, trail and beach runs, yoga, kickboxing, walking. I love listening to live music, and music on my Spotify playlists (each have a designated “mood” label) while I clean, cook, or dance in my kitchen to (true story, it’s the best!). Also enjoy getting creative: journaling, drawing, organizing, creating things. Going to the beach is a staple, as well as being with friends and playing with my cute goldendoodle, Buzz.
